I am a contemporary ceramic artist and teacher working predominantly in my Studio and Gallery, Nawton Beadlam near Helmsley.
Focusing on texture, colour and form with inspiration derived from the beautiful local scenery in my rural location predominantly lichens. 

Functionality is very important to me, as using lovely items everyday is a valuable and enriching experience.

However recently my work has been becoming more sculptural with a new range of pieces incorporating embroidery, crochet and fabrics.
